There are several ways you can help the Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park fulfill its mission.
Contributions are absolutely critical to fulfilling the Ernest Hemingway Foundation's mission. Ticket sales and other earned income cannot completely cover the costs of underwriting our numerous programs - only private funds can make these programs possible.
We have several sponsorship opportunities available. Our annual Benefit Event, Birthday Celebration on or near July 21st and our Boxing Day Celebration on December 26th are the most popular sponsorships. We also have sponsorships available for programming such as our lectures, book club and Friday@Hemingway series. For more information call the Foundation offices at 708-848-2222 or email email@example.com.
The Ernest Hemingway Foundation welcomes gifts made in honor or in memory of someone. A card is sent to the recipient or family of the recipient. This has proven to be one of the most meaningful ways to show your love and/or admiration for someone else. Your gift can be designated for a particular program or directly into the general fund benefiting the entire foundation.
Membership and Gift Memberships
Give the gift that keeps on giving - year round! A gift card is sent to the recipient informing them of your generous present. A gift membership in The Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park gives access to the birthplace, social & educational programs and much more.
Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. Request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift to:
The Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park
P. O. Box 2222
Oak Park, IL 60303-2222
We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to the Hemingway Foundation may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
When you make an In-Kind donation to the Hemingway Foundation, we will automatically send you a letter stating the value of your gift for tax purposes. In addition, your generous donation will either be offered as an auction item at one of our fundraisers, or designated for use in one of our many programs.
Contributions to The Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are deductible for computing income and estate taxes.
