The Ernest Hemingway Foundation of Oak Park is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to foster an understanding of the life and work of Ernest Hemingway, with emphasis on his Oak Park origins and his impact on world literature. We are a literary arts and educational foundation dedicated to thoughtful reading and writing, offering a wide variety of programming, all open to the public, to both nurture and encourage creative expression - for students and for people of all ages.
